TWENYFOUR 7 ISSUE 19
The academic year for both carmel: bible college and carmel: christian school has drawn to a close and it’s a time when family and friends can acknowledge and celebrate their achievements. This reminds us all of the importance of proper training, with the need to persevere and grow in character if we are to succeed in life and make a difference as Christians. These principles are reflected in the rticles in this issue.
Pastor Gerri exhorts us to ‘Run for the Prize’ and to develop godly character and strength (6-7). Only internal change enables us to demonstrate unconditional love and acceptance as a truly ‘Authentic Church’ (8-10). Pastor Michelle encourages us to recognise God’s times and accept change, so that we experience ‘Exceptional Seasons’ throughout our lives (12-13).
c:view covers some of this season’s exciting achievements, such as the Youth Conference and the launch of Kidz Klub (3-5). Prayer Works demonstrates how God is changing individual lives (11) and pages 14-15 re-cap the highlights of this year’s student missionary trip to Uganda.
We praise God for all He has done, is doing and will do in and through us all at carmel: ministries international. As we reach out to a lost and hurting world, we thank Him that He continues to equip and strengthen us to do His will.
