HOME GROUPS
So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart. Acts 2:46
Home groups are nothing new. Acts 2:42-46 reveals that early believers moved from house to house, eating and having things in common. Jesus did many miracles in houses.
Weekly home groups are platforms for everyone to come together and influence their community with the love of Jesus. It provides a warm and friendly atmosphere where new believers are assimilated into the church and christian lifestyles are taught. A church that meets the needs of its people is a church that will grow. Home groups are need meeting centres.
carmel:home groups are an integral part of carmel: ministries. They provide pastoral care for both old and new partners in the church. In the relaxed atmosphere of the home in the local areas, people are cared for, taught, loved, strengthened and empowered and developed for day to day living. Meaningful relationships are established in these small groups and family bonds are established and strengthened.
