THE BASICS
Any super structure, whether it is a physical building or a social organisation, needs a firm foundation. Without this, the structure may stand initially but under pressure or storms faults appear and eventually the structure will crumble and fall. Similarly, equal distribution is vital in the process of construction to avoid a lopsided structure that eventually topples over.
‘The Basics’ is a course designed to provide that firm foundation in the lives of people. It helps the new believer understand what those at carmel: believe, why they believe it and how to apply those beliefs practically in every day life.
The course also helps those from other backgrounds who may have gaps in their understanding. It ensures unity of beliefs, values and principles.
‘The Basics’ not only establishes the foundation but also brings the balance to a moral, Christ-centred life, equipping people with practical life skills so that they do not crumble or topple over as they face the storms of life.
