PROMISE OF PURITY
The mission of Promise of Purity (POP) is to proclaim that, whatever is happening today, people can still have ‘The Power to be Pure’ sexually. This course promotes and encourages sexual integrity and is aimed primarily at single people, teaching and training them according to the principles of the Word of God.
It is the objective of POP to revolutionise society by playing a major role in helping to reduce teen pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. Many young people are significantly unaware of how their decisions regarding their sexuality are controlled. Unaware that they are controlled and manipulated - by peer pressure, by social and political influences and by the spiritual forces which govern these and which also damage their lives in more direct and personal ways.
POP is a means to help the individual regain the power to say ‘no’ when pressured to compromise and capitulate. It offers a radical alternative to what is called ‘sex education’ in schools and colleges today. The broader aim is to establish POP, not only in education establishments, but throughout churches and organisations world-wide.
