VISION 2007 - ‘MULTIPLY TO OCCUPY’
To demonstrate God’s presence and power through evangelism, discipleship and pastoral care in centres to benefit the community. The outworking of the vision. In March 1997 God revealed a 20 year, 4 phase vision for growing His Kingdom, locally and internationally, through carmel: christian centre. In keeping with Habakkuk 2:2 and 3, this is written and referred to annually to monitor progress. (See 24:7 issue 14 for 10 year history and 2007 vision.) As God unfolds His strategy to make the vision become reality, new goals are set and God releases the gifting to get the job done

2006 marked the 10th anniversary of carmel: The focus was on equipping, training and teaching generations Christian principles and values, to respect God’s standard of truth and expect His standard of blessing. Significant growth was experienced as carmel: continued to increase facilities to the public, influence and interact with the local community as well as nationally and internationally.
2007 promises further establishment of God’s Kingdom as carmel: remains obedient to God. Multiplication must be preceded by gifting being released to function and must influence positively the leaders of Bristol for Christ’s cause.
This will necessitate certain organisational changes, the establishment of new ministries and teams to train and equip people in all aspects of life. There will be particular focus on helping people in business and financial matters so that we may be even more effective in what we are called to do – ‘…to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.’ Luke 9:2.
